Maple Grove is filled with beautiful antiques and wonderful reproductions that give the house a special charm. The residence has 5 beautifully decorated guest rooms and there are 3 1/2 baths. We're confident you will enjoy your stay at Maple Grove.

Front Entrance
A beautiful turn-of-the-century Whippet table stands just inside the foyer at the main entrance of Maple Grove. Adjacent to this area you will find the sun porch and the elegant dining room.

Chopin
This room is on the first floor, has a king bed and a lovely bay window view of the lawn, maple trees, and river. It has original floors and is furnished with Persian rugs, a cherry antique dresser and night stand, and has a large private bathroom including a tub with shower.

Peugnet
This room, on the second floor, was the original master bedroom of the home. It has a queen and twin bed and a glorious view of the river looking directly over to Canada. It is furnished with antiques and Persian rugs. The floors are original. The antique chandelier orginally hung in the dining room.

Elizabeth
This room is on the second floor. It has a double bed and a late 1700's reproduction bedroom set. The wood floors are original and the chandelier is Italian antique.

Marianne
This room is on the second floor. It has a queen sized bed and offers a lovely view of the maple trees and lawn below. Interestingly, the closet doors in this room were built into the wall to conceal their presence. This was a carryover from Europe where families were taxed on the number of closets located in a home.

Giard
This master bedroom suite is on the second floor and was added in the early 1990s by former owners. It has a king and twin bed and spectacular views of the river, maple trees, lawn and gardens. It has a private bathroom. It is furnished with antiques including an exquisite late 18th century Scottish dresser.

Living Room
Settle into a comfy chair with your favorite reading material, or browse our book shelves which contain numerous volumes of fiction and non-fiction. Many original details in this room have been maintained, such as the flooring, the fireplace and mantle, and several of the original French doors. It is adorned with gorgeous chandeliers, beautiful Persian rugs and comfortable upholstered furniture.

Dining Room
After years of searching, this exceptional dark mahogany formal dining table was located in a home in Georgetown, Washington D.C and brought to Maple Grove. It seats 12 and was built in 1834, four years before Maple Grove was built. The dining room chairs are Chippendale style. The chandelier is turn of the 20th century Bohemian porcelain.

Sun Porch
This is a favorite spot for guests to rest and unwind. Enjoy reading a good book in one of our comfortable rockers or simply relax after a day of exploring the many historical treasures to be found in the Thousand Islands region.

Front Porch - view 1
The grand front porch, with its tall white pillars and unobstructed view, is a popular spot for guests to enjoy a glass of wine or watch the big ships go by on their way to Lake Ontario or out to the Atlantic Ocean. The St. Lawrence River can be seen through the trees in this photo.
